Program Outcomes

Program outcomes are defined as performance indicators that reflect the extent to which the purposes of the program are achieved and by which program effectiveness is documented. Program outcomes are measurable, consumer-oriented indexes designed to evaluate the degree to which the program is achieving its mission and goals. Examples include, but are not limited to, program completion rates, licensure/certification examination pass rates, and job placement rates.

Program Completion

The BHCC Nurse Education Faculty expect that 70% of students will complete the program within 150% of stated program length, beginning with enrollment in first NUR course.

NCLEX-RN First-time Pass Rates

The BHCC Nurse Education Faculty expect that 80% of first-time test takers will successfully pass the NCLEX-RN.

Job Placement Rates

The BHCC Nurse Education Faculty expect that 80% of BHCC Nurse Education graduates will be employed as a nurse within 10 month after graduation.
